I have an op-ed in today's Mint on a possible strategy to address the challenge of free-power.

well argument sir, I think saggeregation of feeders is not only enough for reducing distribution line losses. It may required a special construction (modern) such as for controlling the power theft from transformer it is necessary to kept a system such that only power restricted to some hours only, in olden days ALMU's played a good role for that. Modern techniques like transistor control can use make the possible to deduce the line losses. thank you.

An old saying malayalam translates to "even if you want to through some thing to water, measure and then through".

With improved banking and Identity mapping software we should able to have metered supply and reimburse if needed. Politicians may not like it, though.
