The Guardian identifies What single breakthrough would best advance the fight against climate change?. It presents the opinions of 21 prominent climate change opinion makers. Interestingly nobody, none of the 21 which also includes economists, talks about a standardized global carbon tax. Going by this, the Pigou tax movement has a lot of ground to cover before it can make any dent.
